Preferred Lender List

We recommend these lenders based on the quality of products and services they provide to Albright College's students and families. Although you may select any lender you wish, we encourage you to choose from this list to ensure that you receive excellent benefits and fast processing of your loan funds.

The following are some factors to be considered and compared when selecting a lender:

  • Interest rates and terms
  • Flexibility of available repayment plans
  • Benefits for borrowers who pay on time or make loan payments electronically
  • Ability of the lender to service all of a borrower’s loans
  • Loan application process technology
  • Customer service (hours of operation, knowledgeable staff, excellent problem-resolution service)
  • Lender stability

The College Cost Reduction Act of 2007, makes significant changes in the law affecting student loans. These changes (some of which were effective October 1, 2007), may cause lenders to discontinue or reduce borrower benefits they offer of federal student loans, including Federal Stafford Loans.  Before selecting a lender, you should contact that lender directly to confirm rates and terms.  Loans already approved and disbursed should not be affected.
