Description: SAACS is a small club that promotes chemistry and other sciences. Throughout the year, this organization participates in homecoming activities, does on campus fundraisers, and goes on one major educational trip each spring. SAACS members also support the sciences by attending speaker related presentations. At the end of the academic school year, a small banquet is held for members and teachers.

Typical semester/special events/trips/programs:

1. One meeting once a month to discuss business.
2. Funraisers for the organization including, candy cane mouse sales and chemistry week bake sales.
3. 1 major trip (usually in the spring) to an educational institution such as the Franklin Institute or Smithsonian.
4. A small banquet held at the end of the academic school year.
