Description: Criminal Justice Society provides both criminology and non-criminology majors with the opportunity to learn about aspects of our criminal justice system. It provides the chance for students to interact with professionals in an array of criminal justice fields, and open their minds to the many options available to them while choosing a career path.

Typical semester/special events/trips/programs:

  1. One meeting once a month to discuss business.
  2. Sponsors guest speakers, lectures, trips and other opportunities for students interested in the field.
  3. Information on careers in the field of Criminal Justice.
  4. Trips to NYPD museum, Quantico and Virginia penitentiaries, police academies and more.
  5. Criminal Justice Career Dinner
  6. Speakers/Presenters from different areas of Criminal Justice including police work, forensics, government, and law.
