Procedures:
1. Contact the Catering Manager at 610-921-7606 to make your catering requests and arrangements. These requests should be made Monday ? Friday from 10:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
2. Mail a Food Service Catering Request through inner campus mail Box 27. (E-Mail Not Accepted)
Policies:
1. Catering requests must be finalized at least seven business days, not calendar days, prior to the date of the planned function. If you are making your request through the mail, please be aware that we must receive and confirm it seven working days before the event.
2. When submitting an event, a confirmed number of guests must be reported at a minimum of seven business days before the event.
3. If students with meal plans will be in attendance of your event, meal card #'s and names must be submitted with the event request to receive credit.
4. Meal discounts for students with meal plans are as follows:
Breakfast $0.50 credit per student
Lunch $1.00 credit per student
Dinner $2.00 credit per student
5. Meal #'s and names not submitted seven business days prior to the event will be charged the full price for the event.
6. Meal charges will be assessed for the guaranteed number of guests. This is the number that we received from you seven business days prior to the event. If a final count is not obtained for any reason, we will charge the minimum guarantee. Albright Food Service will be prepared to provide service for 110 percent of the guaranteed number of guests.
7. A 18 percent gratuity will be added to any waitered functions which will be identified in advance at the time the reservation is made.
8. There is a $10 delivery charge for any function held outside the Campus Center building.
9. Albright College Food Service will not pour or provide alcoholic beverages.
10. Food and labor costs incurred will be charged to the requester if cancellation of an event is not made 72 hours before the start of the event. Please advise your staff of this important deadline. We realize that sometimes you may need our services on short notice. We truly want to assist you! In some cases, however, additional expenses may be incurred. Under these circumstances, we may need to pass the expense on to you.
11. Prices are subject to change in the following circumstances:
A. Events having less than 20 guests.
B. Events held on weekends .
C. Events held off-campus.
D. Events held at non-scheduled times throughout the year. Scheduled times are defined as those in which the college is in academic operation.
E. Events held in the Dining Hall during periods of scheduled food service operations.
12 Equipment rental is available. A cash deposit is required at the time of pick-up.
