In November 2000, the Public Safety Department organized the first Criminal Justice Club at Albright College. This student-run organization was established to provide an opportunity for those interested in various aspects of criminal justice and forensics to have additional experiences in those areas. Over the past several years, the Criminal Justice Society has sponsored the following:
- Trips to F.B.I. Headquarters in Quantico, VA
- Trips to U.S. Supreme Court
- Trips to the Pennsylvania State Police Academy
- Trips to several prisons
- Trips to Philadelphia Medical Examiners Office to view autopsies
- Crime and Justice Career Dinners – 20 representatives from various bureaus, departments, and organizations meet with students on campus
- Trip to New York Police Department
- Trips to Firing Range
